Project framework and impact

The general objective of the project is to contribute towards young people’s employability with a special focus on NEETs and increase their employment opportunities, promoting the recognition of their soft skills acquired in practising sports. YouthSportCV is designed to tackle the persistent gap between young people’s potential and their access to meaningful employment.

Issues

  • High levels of youth unemployment across Europe, particularly among young people aged 15-29.
  • Limited recognition of young people’s soft skills developed in a sports environment.
  • Lack of a clear system to assess, validate, and recognise these skills.
  • Weak collaboration strategies of young people to the labour market.
